I LOVE stories; the process of conveying stories in my drawings gives me pleasure. My self-taught drawing skills and craft-loving spirit are somewhat related to the mini-manga drawing era of my youth and studies in Early Childhood Education back in Japan.

My artwork has been shown in Mexico City at ESTACIONARTE 2008 and locally at Blim, the Helen Pitt Gallery and Lucky’s Gallery in Vancouver, BC. Some of my animations have been shown at Powel Street Festival and Spatial Poetics; my illustrations have been published in the Vancouver Review and Ricepaper Magazine.

I was on hiatus between 2011 and 2021, focusing on my little people. It is so lovely to come back into the creative water.

I am gratefully growing & creating on the beautiful unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
